The Kerala Mudali of India

The Kerala Mudali of India, numbering approximately 11,000 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as a Malayalam-speaking weaving community of Tamil Nadu who migrated from Kaveripumpattinam, adopting the title Mudali after the Tamil Mudaliyar. Weaving remains their trade, and though originally Hindu, most are now Christian.
They are an Indigenous people in the Malayali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Malayalam is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.

The Kerala Mudali are Unengaged and Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations among which there are no known efforts focused on establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.
