The Layab of Bhutan

The Layab of Bhutan, numbering approximately 1,600 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as an ethnolinguistic community of Bhutan, North Punakha District, around Laya; Gasa District; Thimphu District, Lingzhi gewog and can also be known as Layakha.
They are an Indigenous people, with Layakha / Layab as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the South Asian Buddhist people cluster of the South Asian Peoples.
Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan.
They primarily speak Layakha.
