The Tzutujil of Guatemala, numbering approximately 117,000 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as an Indigenous Maya ethnic group from the Lake Atitlán region of Guatemala, with their own language, history, and cultural traditions, descended from the ancient Maya civilization. They are also known as Eastern Tzutujil.
They are an Indigenous people in the Central American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples affinity bloc.
Tz’utujil is their primary language and Ethnoreligion is their primary religion.
