The Yao of Mozambique

They are described as a major Bantu ethnolinguistic group indigenous to the southern coastal area of Lake Malawi in Malawi, Mozambique, and Tanzania.
They are an Indigenous people in the Bantu, Makua-Yao people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc.
Yao is their primary language and Sunni Islam is their primary religion.
