The Giriama Mijikenda of Kenya, numbering approximately 1,135,000 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as a tribal subgroup of the Mijikenda, a large Bantu ethnic group inhabiting the coastal region of Kenya. They are also known as Giryama.
They are an Indigenous people in the Bantu, East-Coastal people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc.
Kigiryama is their primary language and African Traditional Religion is their primary religion.
