They are described as an ethnolinguistic community of Benin, Departement des Collines, Save and Ouessi subprefectures, 3 villages: Okounfo, Edaningbe, and Gbede.
They are an Indigenous people in the Other Sub-Saharan African people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc.
Tchumbuli is their primary language and Protestantism is their primary religion.
