The Mon of Thailand

The Mon of Thailand, numbering approximately 120,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as one of Southeast Asia’s oldest Indigenous peoples, founders of some of the region’s earliest civilizations and a major cultural force in what is now Myanmar and Thailand.
They are an Indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Mon is their primary language and Animism is their primary religion.

The Mon are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.
