The Hindu Santarash of India, numbering approximately 4,600 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as a community of India and can also be known as Gantawala, Sangtaras, Jantawala, Sangtarash.
They are an Indigenous people, with Sangtarash as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Urdu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples.
Their primary religion is Hinduism.
They primarily speak Maithili.

Pray that those who are lost will turn from the darkness they are walking in and embrace the light, becoming children of light who bear fruit in every good work.

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.
