The Amish of Canada

The Amish of Canada, numbering approximately 11,000 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as an ethno-religious community of German Anabaptists who fled religious persecution in Europe prior to the 18th century, initially settling in Pennsylvania, then reolocating to Ontario after the Revolutionary War and can also be known as Pennsylvania Dutch.
They are an Diaspora people, with Amish (Pennsylvania Dutch) as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Germanic people cluster of the Eurasian Peoples.
Their primary religion is Christianity - Non-Evangelical Protestant.
They primarily speak Pennsylvania German.

The Amish are Unengaged and Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations among which there are no known efforts focused on establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

Pray that as people hear and believe the gospel, they will serve others in Jesus' name, and the lost will have an opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.
