The Arwa Mala of India, numbering approximately 16,500 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as a Scheduled Caste community of South India, closely linked to the larger Mala caste, traditionally engaged in agricultural labor and living primarily in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu, with a historically marginalized social position.
They are an Indigenous people in the Tamil people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Tamil is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
