The Chikwa of India

The Chikwa of India, numbering approximately 90,500 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as a Muslim butchering caste of Bihar, also known as Chikwa, traditionally dealing in the slaughter of goats and sheep as distinct from the cattle-dealing Qassab, and now also engaged in agriculture and wage labor.
They are an Indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Urdu is their primary language and Sunni Islam is their primary religion.

The Chikwa are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.
