The Biar of India

The Biar of India, numbering approximately 451,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as an occupational caste community of Uttar Pradesh's Mirzapur and Varanasi districts, the Bayar speak Bhojpuri and Hindi, practice rice cultivation and agricultural labor, and worship Hindu deities including Mahadeva.
They are an Indigenous people in the Bhojpur-Maithili people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Bhojpuri is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
