The Chhimba of India

They are described as a North Indian tailoring and cloth-printing caste tracing its origin to Baba Namdev, also known as Darzi, with both Sikh and Hindu branches engaged in dyeing, stamping, and garment-making.
They are an Indigenous people in the Punjabi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Punjabi, Western is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
