The Aheu of Laos

The Aheu of Laos, numbering approximately 2,700 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as an ethnolinguistic community of Thailand, Thavung in Sakon Nakhon province: Song Daw District, 3 villages; Phon Soung live about 100 km south of the Thavung.
They are an Indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Aheu is their primary language and Animism is their primary religion.

The Aheu are Unengaged and Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations among which there are no known efforts focused on establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

Unreached yet Engaged

The Aheu are Engaged yet Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations but there are sustained efforts at establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

No longer Unreached

The Aheu are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.

Ask God to raise up and send believers who will serve "the least of these" with compassion and energy because they know that in serving those in need, they are serving Christ.
