They are described as an indigenous community of Ghana; a dialect subgroup of Akan (aka).
They are an Indigenous people in the Guinean people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc.
Akan is their primary language and Neo-Pentecostalism is their primary religion.
