The Kemant of Ethiopia

The Kemant of Ethiopia, numbering approximately 291,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as a Western Agaw people of the Gondar region whose traditional identity was centered on the Kemant language and a distinctive Hebraic-influenced indigenous religion. Today most Kemant are Amharic-speaking Ethiopian Orthodox Christians.
They are an Indigenous people in the Agau people cluster of the Horn of Africa Peoples affinity bloc.
Amharic is their primary language and Tewahedo Orthodox Christianity is their primary religion.
