The Khmu of China

They are described as an Austroasiatic ethnic group originating in northern Laos but long established in southwest China and neighboring areas of Thailand and Vietnam .
They are an Indigenous people, with Khmu as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples.
Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism.
They primarily speak Khmu.
