The Amdo of China, numbering approximately 1,525,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as an indigenous community of China; a dialect subgroup of Amdo Tibetan (adx).
They are an Indigenous people in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples affinity bloc.
Tibetan, Amdo is their primary language and Tibetan Buddhism is their primary religion.
