They are an ethnic community of mixed Indigenous Amerindian and European ancestry indigenous to Peru and can also be known as Peruvian Mestizo. They are an Diaspora people, in the Hispanic people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Roman Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
