The Bhuinhar of India, numbering approximately 1,155,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as an agricultural community of the Chotanagpur plateau whose name means "original clearers of the forest." They are organized into totemic exogamous clans, worship their ancestors, and celebrate the Sarhul festival They are an Indigenous people, with Bhuihar as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Bhojpuri.
