The Khakas of Russian Federation, numbering approximately 73,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Turkic-speaking indigenous people of southern Siberia, concentrated in the Republic of Khakassia in Russia. They speak the Khakas language and are one of the historic native peoples of the upper Yenisei River region. They are an Indigenous people in the Ural-Siberian people cluster of the Turkic Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Khakas and their primary religion is Eastern Orthodox Christianity.
